I Asked Jesus & He Said No – Single (2026)
I ASKED JESUS & HE SAID NO is a protest song about speaking up and taking a stand — rather than staying fearful and silent — articulated through the lens of the hypocrisy of the right’s using Jesus to justify perverse and reprehensible political agendas. This is the second song from Martha’s collaboration with legendary guitarist and producer Pat Thrall (Pat Travers Band, Meatloaf, Asia, etc + 4 Grammy nominations), who is also a co-writer on the song.
Track Description
Pat embeds Martha’s message in a grinding, guitar-driven, signature blues rock groove that perfectly matches the grit and intensity of her vocals. Her lyrics and melody, Pat notes, come “from a place of empathy and soul searching” and “hold up a mirror” to argue for “not just right and wrong but also truth and justice.” The track includes tasty, highly driven vintage Thrall blues guitar lines. The take-no-prisoners outro is an intense dialogue between Martha’s vocals and Pat’s guitar, showcasing both her unique vocal style and his legendary skills. Pat appears on the track not only on guitar, but also on bass and drums (fun fact: his first instrument) in one of the very few musical projects on which Pat currently plays. This track is a perfect marriage of poignant songwriting with white hot guitar work and passionate production to pound home an important message.

Be Right Back – Single (2026)
Be Right Back is a fresh, guitar-driven rock song in the tradition of Sheryl Crow, Bonnie Raitt, and Linda Ronstadt but with Martha’s distinctive soulful voice and approach. The irresistible groove and infectious melody combine with engaging lyrics, retro undertones, and fun surprises in this upbeat love song that sticks in your head and begs you to sing along.
Released on January 16, 2026, BE RIGHT BACK is the first of seven singles Martha is creating with producer and legendary guitarist Pat Thrall, (Pat Travers Band, Hughes/Thrall, Meatloaf, Asia, etc.) with credits on nearly 500 albums with 4 Grammy nominations. Clarence Collins (Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, Little Anthony & the Imperials) also contributed the vocal arrangement and backing vocals.
Call Out LP (2023)
In “Dumping My Delusion,” Ms. Perry gives us a vocal lesson. Her tone, intonation, phrasings & how she applies her inimitable style is like salty potato chips & dark chocolate. From dark music to riveting in the 57-voice chorus in ‘McKiely’s Song,’ shows the ability of Ms. Perry’s voice to tread through as a pristine ballad singer, traditional interpreter & jazz singer. Impressive.
